We have been making these Challa boards for over 30 years.
The board is made of different wood types frame holding inside a non scratchable marble to allow cutting the Challa on it. The board contains a special slot where the cutting knife is put when not in use. The board is decorated with silver wheat corners, and the phrase: "המוציא לחם מן הארץ" - meaning: "who brings forth bread from the earth", in silver decorated letters.
